Ready to adopt a dog as the newest member of your family?
If you'd like to apply to adopt a dog from the Trenton Animal Shelter (pictured above), please click on the "Adoption Screening Form" link below. Just fill the form out electronically and click "Submit". You will be contacted within a few days.

The adoption fee for all our dogs is $120. The Shelter Animal Project does not receive ANY portion of the adoption fee. The fee goes to the city of Trenton.
If a dog is not spayed/neutered before it is adopted, THE SHELTER ANIMAL PROJECT will provide a certificate to have the dog altered at Animal Alliance. ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM TAS THAT ARE NOT ALTERED MUST BE ALTERED WITH 45 DAYS OF ADOPTION.
